Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary

Since 1996, Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary have worked tirelessly to relieve the distress and suffering of unwanted and mistreated cats and dogs from across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Over the years, their mission has expanded beyond that of caring for abandoned animals to also include providing daily enrichment to ensure the happiness and comfort of their animals until they are ready to go to their ‘forever homes’. These projects include Dogs Day Out, Room to Relax, Behavioural Talks, April’s Wish and Our Puppy & Kitten Plans.

They recognise that one of the first and most effective ways of preventing animals from being abandoned or mistreated is education. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers work hand-in-hand with various individuals and groups to provide vital support and guidance on how to give animals the best care possible.
